Steeve Bouchard, C. App.

Steeve is a Chartered Appraiser (É.A.) and member of the Ordre des Évaluateurs agréés du Québec (OEAQ), with over 25 years of experience in real estate valuation and asset management. Most recently as Senior Director at Altus Group, he has developed extensive expertise in income property valuation—especially industrial and commercial assets—for purposes such as taxation, financing, due diligence, rental rates, and market value.

He also served as Senior Manager of Property Taxes for Canada’s largest airline, overseeing its global real estate portfolio.

Steeve is a guest expert in the Certification Program in Real Estate Management offered by Concordia University / John Molson School of Business / Urban Development Institute of Quebec (IDU), and regularly speaks at major industry events such as the Montreal Real Estate Summit and BOMA conferences.

At Borealis, he now dedicates his expertise to providing strategic real estate valuation advice to the province’s largest property owners, investors, and developers.

Yves Godin, C. App.

Yves is a Chartered Appraiser (É.A.) and a long-standing member of the Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec (OEAQ) with over 35 years of experience. Former Executive Vice President at Altus Group, he specialized in the valuation of large non-residential income properties (commercial, office, industrial) for property tax purposes.

With degrees in Urban Planning and Business Administration, Yves began his career at Roy Sanche Gold & Associates (RSGA), where he became a partner. In 2006, RSGA merged with Altus Group, where Yves led the Advisory, Litigation and Property Tax group in Quebec until 2023.

He is a leading authority on the valuation of large industrial and commercial property portfolios across Canada and has provided expert testimony before Quebec’s main tribunals.

Yves has served extensively with the OEAQ, including as Chair of the Professional Inspection Committee (2002–2016), and as a member of the Disciplinary Committee since 2019. He served on the IDU board from 2017 to 2023 and participated in numerous tax policy and economic development committees. In 2016, he was appointed to Montreal’s Non-Residential Taxation and Economic Development Committee and was awarded the “Mérite” by the Quebec Interprofessional Council.

After retiring in 2023, Yves returned to professional life in 2025 to co-found Borealis Advisory Services.

Jean-Bernard Parenteau, LL.M. MBA

Jean-Bernard has a background in law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and an MBA. With five years in private practice, he developed strong expertise in business and IT law, before joining Chicago Title Insurance Company as Associate Vice President from 2004 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2025, he held senior leadership roles at Altus Group, overseeing communications and strategic development for real estate professional services, building relationships with major owners, Real Estate management firms and Real Estate developers across Canada.

Jean-Bernard has served on the Board of the Urban Development Institute (IDU) since 2023 and on the Board of Cercle 13, a nonprofit fostering high-level knowledge sharing among commercial real estate professionals, since 2012.

He is also on the Board of the RÉA Foundation, which promotes excellence in specialized clinical care, cutting-edge research, and university-level teaching in physical rehabilitation in Quebec.

A passionate supporter of classical music, he has been a Board member of Ensemble contemporain de Montréal (ECM+) since 2016 — an ensemble dedicated entirely to the creation and performance of contemporary Canadian classical music.

Alexandra St-Georges is a Chartered Appraiser with over 25 years of experience in real estate valuation. A recognized expert in income-producing property valuation, she has developed specialized expertise in the appraisal of hotels, lodging establishments, and recreational and resort properties for a wide range of purposes.

Throughout her career, Alexandra has acted as an expert witness before the Tribunal administratif du Québec (TAQ). She has also been a featured speaker at various webinars and conferences in Quebec, particularly on property taxation and hotel asset valuation, sharing her deep knowledge with industry professionals.

Her ability to clearly understand client needs, combined with a proactive and tailored service approach, has made her a trusted resource for resolving complex tax-related challenges in the hotel and hospitality sector. Alexandra is known for her dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to her colleagues.

Actively involved with the Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec (OEAQ) since 2017, she has been a member of its Executive Committee since 2019 and was appointed Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors in 2025. She has also served on the Governance and Human Resources Committee and has designed and taught a professional course on hotel and motel valuation for OEAQ members.
